Our cover stars, Anguillian twin sisters Krystie Permuy and Krystal Webster, are both primary school teachers, who love what they do and who have had the opportunity to work with Project Inspire.
Krystie and Krystal also manage and operate The Learning Hub, which offers after school tutoring as well as an annual Learning Hub summer camp filled with hands-on learning, healthy activities, field trips and, of course, crafting among other engaging activities.

In addition to their work in the classroom, they are the prolific makers and creators behind Kwin | Handmade in Anguilla , a growing local jewellery brand producing handmade earrings, bracelets, and gifts found in some of the island’s shops and hotels, or ordered directly through their social media profiles.

Notably, Kwin, was born out of the sisters’ shared passion for creating and has flourished around the kitchen table and sunlit living rooms, where connection and craft grow side by side.

At the heart of Kwin is a deep respect for process, execution and delivery. No two items are ever the same and that’s by design.
“Our pace is intentional, allowing us to focus on quality,” the sisters explain. “It’s about creativity and expression. Our pieces do not follow trends, they tell stories and help us to find and showcase beauty in simplicity.”
