Even the most travel-savvy visitors have questioned what essential items they should bring to Anguilla.

As with any destination, a lot of what you may require depends on your unique plans and level of adventurousness. This list is by no means meant to be exhaustive, but rather to give you a bit of an idea of what to pack and where to find things you may have forgotten (because let’s be real, it happens!).
Packing Tips:
- Although Anguilla is a tropical island, it is recommended to pack a light cardigan for evenings as some seaside restaurants can be breezy, especially during the winter months.
- Single-use plastics are against the law, so you will need an eco-bag for your groceries in Anguilla. Pack a small roll up one in your suitcase if you plan on doing any grocery runs while you are here.
- Most restaurants are casual, so you won’t need sports coats or incredibly formal dining attire. Linen pants, chinos or flat front shorts are sufficient for men.
- Sunscreen and mosquito repellent are recommended, but can be purchased locally at most grocery stores if you are unable to bring any in your carry-on bag.
- If you forget your prescription medication, you can inquire with the local pharmacy about the possibility of having your doctor back home email them your prescription.
